The roads have been sufficiently cleared for our Estes Park families to travel today. Please join us for our Play for Peace concert today, but be sure to allow for additional travel time. We may have to reschedule our Play for Peace Concert due to the weather. Our families from Estes Park already have much more snow than others on the Front Range, and it's still coming down! Our main concern is safety in these poor driving conditions. Liza Hein won first place in the statewide middle school string competition of Colorado Association of Christian Schools in March playing Vivaldi A Minor Concerto, 1st Movement. To promote our upcoming Play for Peace Concert, we've been fortunate to have publicity in the Longmont Times-Call. Check out our article here: The upcoming workshop on Saturday, March 21 has been canceled due to low enrollment. Students may have an future opportunity to learn more about the Alexander Technique at group class. We'll cross our fingers that more workshops can be offered in the future! Stay tuned for more details. There hasn't been enough time for a chance to read our March book, Helping Parents Practice, by Edmund Sprunger. The meetup will now be held Monday, April 6, 6:30-7:30 pm at Westview Presbyterian Church. Join us for a casual discussion about the book whether you've read the whole thing or just part of it! Please contact Megan Titensor with any questions. Click here to download our latest newsletter, Longmont Suzuki Notes. A big thank you to Linda Kopecky, our editor! We are excited to have our "Families (& Friends) That Play Together" Concert at Guitars, etc on Main Street on Saturday, Feb. 28, 3:00 pm. Please join us for a fun and casual afternoon with music from Twinkles to Smoke on the Water! We will all meet for pizza following the concert across the street. |
