Long's Peak United Methodist has given us approval and scheduling clearance to hold group classes as well as private teaching during all our requested hours. We still need to provide proof of our nonprofit status, as well as proof of insurance. Our hope is that Longmont Council of the Arts will take us in as part of their nonprofit umbrella for the time being. We still need to come up with a long term solution.
What we still need:
A core parent group to organize in order to get LCA's attention. We've had several people put in phone calls and emails, but we're lacking some response still. As soon as we can get confirmation to provide for Long's Peak United Methodist, group classes can resume! Perhaps several warm bodies marching into Longmont Council of the Arts might give them a reason to get this discussion moving?
Other leads:
Guitars, etc. is willing to host us as part of their music school, but we are unsure of space limitations at this point.
