Please join us for a concert in the park this Saturday, May 3rd at 5:00 at Prospect Park. The concert is free of charge and we would love to have you there! Feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy while you are in the park and finish it off with an ice cream from the Sweet Cow Moo Mobile. We will be playing a variety of pieces, including selections from your favorite movies and new for us—a violin dubstep piece! We hope to see you there!
Happy holidays! The teachers of Longmont Suzuki Strings would like to thank all the students and parents for a great concert season. We very much enjoyed our end of semester concerts. The two performances were a delight to all listening. Thank you to Longmont United Hospital and Long's Peak United Methodist for hosting our two events. We are fortunate to have such wonderful group of students; we feel honored to be teaching them. Have a great holiday break!
Book 1 - 5 students will be performing a Halloween Themed Concert this Monday at 4:45 at Longs Peak United Methodist Church. It is sure to be a SPOOKTACULAR event!
Longmont Suzuki Strings are performing today, October 14th, at the Ollin Farms Pumpkin festival. We will perform at 2:00 so come out and hear some great music and get your pumpkins for Halloween!
Group classes began on Monday the 24th. We are excited about the new semester and hope you can come to one of our many concerts! Check out our events page to find out more!
We will be having our first solo recitals of the year on September 17th. Due to the number of students this year we will be having this concert in two locations. Students of Barbara Barber and Lisa Hollis will be performing at Long's Peak United Methodist Church. Students of Erron Lacy and Anne Brennand will be performing at Messiah Lutheran Church. Both recitals will begin at 4:45pm.
Our students enjoyed the late summer weather at Thompson Park on Monday afternoon while playing their violins for our first concert of the year. The students were also excited to recieve their awards for summer projects. What a great start to the year! We are looking forward to many more great perfomances!
