Longmont Suzuki Strings

Happy Halloween! We enjoyed a casual concert before heading out to Trick-or-Treat.  The kids all came in their costumes, violins in hand. A spooky Halloween story and a few silly tunes and they were ready to hit the streets for candy! Thank you parents for coming out to be a part of the concert!

One of our students put on a fun show for us.  Tanner Played Hunter's Chorus while hula-hooping!  Thank you Tanner -- we were all impressed

A big Thank You! to Longmont Orthodontics for the goody bags.  The kids put those halloween toothbrushes to good use this evening . . . I hope!

Monday, October 17th marked the anniversary of Dr. Suzuki's birthday. Born on October 17, 1898, he spent the better part of his nearly century-long life helping the world to realize the amazing potential that is poised waiting to be unleashed in every human being. Here is a link to the SAA site detailing his life and work with children.

The Suzuki Association of the Americas provides teacher scholarships, program support, course development, quarterly journals and more.

If you have a moment, please watch this video and consider making a $5 donation to the SAA so that future teachers in North, Central and South America may access the same high quality education:

This year Halloween falls on a Monday so we will be having a Halloween concert in lieu of group classes.  This should be a lot of fun.  The kids have been working on a few halloween pieces and a dance!  Come enjoy the concert at 4:30 at Long's Peak United Methodist Church.  Wear your costume!
